Ganesh Varal – Ahmednagar

In the small village of Nighoj in Ahmednagar district, with a population of just 10,000 – 12,000, Ganesh Varal began a journey that would become one of the most inspiring stories in India’s mutual fund distribution space. With a B.Com degree and a diploma in Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management from Ruia College, Mumbai, Ganesh developed an early interest in the stock market, even obtaining his ARN during college.

Entering the profession in the aftermath of the 2008 market crash was far from easy. In a conservative rural market, mutual funds were viewed with scepticism. In 2009, Ganesh joined NJ Wealth under the guidance of Agency Manager Sachin Rane, gaining access to structured training, processes, and technology.

Through relentless investor education – often travelling over 100 km by bike – Ganesh built trust brick by brick. Today, he manages ₹88 crore in AUM, a ₹1 crore monthly SIP book, and serves nearly 2,000 clients, proving that perseverance and the right platform can transform even the most challenging markets.

Deepak Chugh – Barnala

The journey of Deepak Chugh, a Barnala-based NJ Partner, reflects how steady learning, right mentorship, and long-term conviction can build a sustainable financial practice in B-30 markets. Today, Deepak manages an AUM of ₹39 – 40 crore, services nearly 900 E-Wealth accounts, and runs a monthly SIP book of ₹55 lakh entirely from non-metro regions.

Deepak began his association with NJ as an employee, spending over 2.5 years learning the fundamentals of mutual funds and insurance. Under the guidance of senior leaders Manish Sir and Sunil Sir, he progressed within the insurance vertical before deciding to return to his hometown and build an independent practice. In October 2018, he joined NJ as a Partner, initially focusing on insurance.

Over time, mutual funds became central to his business. By 2021, his focus shifted decisively, and by 2022, the compounding impact and stability of long-term investing became evident. Backed by NJ’s E-Wealth platform and strong family support, Deepak’s journey highlights the power of patience, technology, and disciplined investing in building enduring wealth practices.

Chandra Veshu – Chandigarh

In a short span, Mr. Chandra Veshu, a Chandigarh-based mutual fund distributor, has built a high-impact practice managing ₹50 crore in AUM, serving 400+ clients, and running a monthly SIP book of over ₹1 crore. An engineer by training, Chandra began his career in network security with firms like Wipro, Zscaler, and British Telecom, before transitioning into financial services through LIC and later PNB MetLife. An MBA in Investment and Corporate Banking further sharpened his passion for wealth creation.

His mutual fund journey gained real momentum in 2021, when he committed full-time despite early challenges such as lower margins. Backed by NJ’s training ecosystem and inspired by top-performing peers, he set an ambitious vision – building ₹5,000 crore in AUM and creating 5,000 crorepatis.

Today, his organisation operates with strong SOPs, reinvests heavily in talent, and follows a partnership-led growth model. Known for empathetic, need-based advice, Chandra believes mutual fund distribution is not transactional – it’s about changing lives, one investor at a time.

Chetan Agrawal – Ranchi

Chetan Agrawal’s journey into mutual fund distribution is rooted in discipline and long-term conviction. He began his career in 2008 with Bharati Axa Life Insurance and later worked with Pidilite Industries and HDFC Bank, gaining valuable exposure to financial products and sales. In 2014, a conversation with an AMC executive and encouragement from an existing client introduced him to mutual funds, leading him to enrol with NJ Wealth and process his first SIP while continuing his full-time job.

Balancing work and entrepreneurship, he built his practice steadily with NJ’s structured training and support. Inspired by senior partners at an NJ program, he committed to the long-term vision of the business. In November 2019, he went full-time with an AUM of ₹25 – 30 crore.

Today, Chetan manages ₹195 crore in AUM and a ₹2.5 crore monthly SIP book, firmly believing that NJ taught him to build a sustainable business, not just sell products.
