Solan, Himachal Pradesh | September 3, 2026: The IFCT Institute of Fashion & Communication Technology (IFCT Solan) organised an Art of Living YES+ (Youth Empowerment Seminar+) workshop for its students at the IFCT Himachal campus in Solan on September 1, 2026. Conducted by the Art of Living Foundation, the workshop focused on confidence building, stress management, mental well-being and holistic personal development.
The YES+ workshop at IFCT Solan provided students with practical tools and techniques to lead a more balanced, healthy, joyful and fulfilling life. The interactive programme introduced students to yoga, meditation and breathing exercises, while also focusing on mind management, emotional balance, clarity of thought, observation, perception and effective expression.
Students from the Fashion Department at IFCT Solan actively participated in the workshop and various group activities. At the conclusion of the programme, participating students were awarded certificates of participation by the faculty.

Sharing her experience, a student from the Fashion Department said, “The YES+ workshop was a refreshing and meaningful experience. The breathing exercises, meditation and interactive activities helped me understand how to manage stress and stay positive. I feel more confident and motivated to handle challenges in both my personal and professional life.”
The YES+ programme is designed for young people and combines practical wisdom, group activities, service initiatives and mind-management skills. It aims to help students develop a strong foundation for achieving individual goals while encouraging a sense of responsibility towards society and the larger community.
Students were also introduced to Sudarshan Kriya, a rhythmic breathing technique taught through Art of Living programmes, as part of the workshop’s focus on mental clarity, emotional well-being and personal growth.
