Dr. Abhishek Pratap Singh: A Legacy of Excellence in Spine Care, Rehabilitation and Social Service

For Dr. Abhishek Pratap Singh, healthcare has been a professional journey combining physiotherapy, rehabilitation, manual therapy and spine-focused practice. His areas of work include spine manual therapy, chiropractic care, osteopathic manipulation and physiotherapy.

The foundation of his clinical practice was established in 2008 when he opened INDRAPRASTH SPINE CARE CENTRE in Tilak Nagar, New Delhi. Located at 1/8, Tilak Nagar, the centre became an important part of his continuing professional work.

In 2014, he expanded his practice by establishing INDRAPRASTH SPINE MANUAL THERAPY CENTRE at 1, Siri Fort Road, New Delhi. Both centres continue to form the clinical base of his work.

The professional approach of Dr. Abhishek Pratap Singh includes assessment of individual conditions, manual therapy, rehabilitation exercises and guidance related to posture and movement. Depending on the patient’s requirements, conservative and rehabilitation-based approaches may be considered where clinically suitable.

A key part of his professional profile is his focus on non-surgical approaches to spine-related concerns. Dr. Abhishek Pratap Singh has avoided more than 7,000 surgeries and treated more than 20,000 patients during his professional career.

His work and contributions have received recognition at different stages. In 2008, he was awarded the Samaj Ratna Sammaan by Jan Sanskriti Lok Seva Sanstha, New Delhi, for social service.

In 2016, he received the Significant Contribution Award from INCPT, AIIMS. He was also recognised as Best Physiotherapist Doctor in Delhi – 2016 by former Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan.

Another milestone came in 2017 when Indraprasth Physiotherapy Centre was recognised as the Best Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Centre in Delhi at the National Quality Excellence Awards.

His specialisation and professional focus on spine manual therapy later received further recognition. He was awarded the title of Best Osteopathic Spine Manipulation Therapist in Delhi/NCR for 2018–19. In 2021, he was honoured as Best Spine Manual Therapist in India.

Public education has remained another element of his career. In 2017, Dr. Abhishek Pratap Singh appeared on DD News to discuss the connection between modern lifestyles and musculoskeletal health.

He later participated in DISHA TV programmes that addressed issues including slip disc, frozen shoulder, knee osteoarthritis and sciatica. His participation in the EPIC TV Pratigya Talk Show alongside actress Poonam Dhillon also provided an opportunity to discuss physical health and rehabilitation with a wider audience.

His contribution during the COVID-19 period was recognised with the COVID-19 Service Excellence Award from Star Time Media Group. Throughout this period, he continued his involvement in patient care and community-oriented initiatives.

Further recognition came in 2023, when he received the Most Trusted Spine Osteopathic Manipulation Therapist Award from IFIE and the National Indian Achievers Award. He was also honoured by Shri Nitin Gadkari for his contribution to healthcare and rehabilitation.

Later in 2023, his professional journey was featured on India News’ Bharat Ki Shaan programme. In 2026, he received the Health Professional Ratan Award at NCAHRS-AIIMS.

Alongside professional practice, Dr. Abhishek Pratap Singh has remained involved in community service. In association with Bharat Vikas Parishad, he has participated in free physiotherapy initiatives. His centres have also organised physiotherapy camps and awareness programmes, including activities associated with World Physiotherapy Day.

His career has therefore combined clinical practice, professional recognition, public communication and social service. With more than 7,000 surgeries avoided and more than 20,000 patients treated, his continuing work through INDRAPRASTH SPINE CARE CENTRE and INDRAPRASTH SPINE MANUAL THERAPY CENTRE remains focused on physiotherapy, rehabilitation, manual therapy and spine care.
